I'd rather be a could-be
if I cannot be an are;
because a could-be is a maybe
who is reaching for a star.
I'd rather be a has-been
than a might-have-been, by far;
for a might have-been has never been,
but a has was once an are

double entendre
This is an interesting word/phrase I stumbled upon recently.
And it means : ambiguity of meaning arising from language that lends itself to more than one interpretation
E.g: "This straw really sucks" ( meaning a "bad" straw .. or a "good" straw because it sucks well)
one more : "This menu has bugs" (meaning that it offers "bugs" as an option, or that it has "defects")
Do you have more examples ?

Psyched ?
Are you psyched about the upcoming test ? Are you psyched about wearing that new dress you just bought ? Are you psyched about the movie you are going to watch with your friends tomorrow ? What do you understand when I ask you these questions ?
Question : What does the word "Psyched" mean to you ?
Answer: If you thought "Psyched" meant excited, you would be surprised to read the meaning from the webster dictionary. If you thought it meant scared, then.. watch out there may be other people around you using it to mean "excited" !! I just discovered that a couple of days ago that this word is used by different people in different ways... Wonder how many such other words there are !!
Ah !! the English Language..

Language and Accent
Is there a right or wrong accent ? What you are used to is what sounds good ? or is it something else ? Do you decide not to talk to someone because you dont understand their accent and so, cant really communicate well with them ? or do you figure where they come from and are not interested anymore ? Lets consider the English language. American or British ?
